This camp is an introduction to the activities that are so popular at Morse Hill. Along with the classic activities, campers will have the opportunity for nature exploration, art and connections to science and literature. Quiet reading and rest will be offered each day. Children may visit the stream, the fox den, play hide and seek under the mountain laurel or hike to the view to look out over the treetops. They will be given the chance to try out many of our low and high ropes adventure elements, canoeing and tree climbing with the guidance of trained and supportive staff. Campers entering 1st grade and up may register for this camp.
Our staff-to-camper ratio in Intro Camp is 5-1, and your camper will be most successful if they've done well with that ratio of counselor supervision in other settings.
We recognize that this is our most popular offering- please consider registering for the waitlist if the week you're hoping for is full. If we can add more spots as we get closer to summer, we will.
NEW PAYMENT POLICIES
We are trying to make Morse Hill accessible to more families, so we are using a sliding scale this summer. In order to provide the best experience possible for campers and offer a fair wage to our staff, our sliding payment scale should more fairly distribute the cost of summer camp. We appreciate your understanding as we work to provide a more equitable model for our families and community.
We have included many coupons to help you save money, such as paying early, paying with a personal check, multi camp discounts and sibling discounts. We of course offer scholarships to families on a need basis. To apply, please reach us at summer@morsehill.com and our office staff will assist you in the application process.
Lastly, we have brought back the “deposit”, so you do not have to pay so much up front.
