For programs other than summer camps we use staff who are contracted for their specific skill set. Summer camp staff includes Junior and Senior Counselors. Our Senior Counselors are 21 and over and are certified in First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguarding. Many of them are public school teachers. Junior Counselors must be 16 and are also certified in First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguarding. Most Junior Counselors have been campers and all have been Counselors in Training (CITs) first. Ropes course staff are 18 and older.
