Designing and creating your own unique raft—using boards, inner tubes, and other materials—really puts your teamwork skills to the test. Can you work together to make a plan? And then can you focus and follow through to effectively execute it? Once the raft is complete, participants launch it in a local lake to test its seaworthiness. As they try their hand at navigation, we see expressions of sheer delight knowing that they created this craft themselves that is carrying their team safely out into the lake. This experience gives participants confidence in both themselves and their group, not to mention a fun and memorable day in the water!
